AMP Lightning

Probably one of the most appropriate names for an AMP flavor. This is probably the only one where someone said, “Yeah, the lemonade AMP” and we went, “You mean Lightning?”

Ingredients: carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, natural and artificial flavor, taurine, guarana seed extract, sodium benzoate (preserves freshness), sodium hexametaphosphate (to protect flavor), l-carnitine, gum arabic, caffeine, maltodextrin, glycerol ester of rosin, niacinamide, panax ginseng root extract, calcium pantothenate, calcium disodium edta (to protect flavor), yellow 5, riboflavin
Can Design: Bright. Effing. Yellow. It’s incredibly hard to miss. We’d make a Bumblebee joke, but we promised you Metal Gear.

It’s carbonated candy lemonade. The kick is in the description.
Buzz(?): It’s a very calm, very happy buzz. It’s a well-being buzz. Okay, well, anyway, it keeps you calmly awake, instead of hyper-awake.
Taste: It really tastes like lemonade. Like someone actually squeezed a lemon into your can and carbonated it. And added sugar, of course. Otherwise the kick would rival Raiden’s ability to wield a katana.
Design: Well, for such a sweet name, the design is a little more lacking than other AMP flavors. Bright yellow with white streaks isn’t the coolest design for something like this. We totally understand why they didn’t go with the black background, though. What’s for sure is that you’ll never forget where you put your can.
How much lightning does it take to kill a man? Well, if you’re talking about actual lightning, probably two or three bolts, but there are people who have been struck way more times than that, and they’re still around to tell about it. If you’re talking about AMP Lightning, it would take about 75 cans.
But if you’re talking about Raiden, though, it would take one. Just one.
Difficulty of Procurement: If you know how to dodge the katana, Lightning seems to be around a lot more than any of the other flavors. Still generally at random, though.
