But, but… he drank an entire liter of the stuff. Don’t blame the drink, blame the fat kid!

Red Rooster has about 30mg of caffeine per 100ml. This is about 3.4 oz. That’s LESS than the standard. That means there were only 300mg in the entire liter of Red Rooster. That’s less than two cans of Monster.
No, that’s less than the 22 oz. NOS sitting right next to me.
Caffeine mostly (read: mostly) affects by weight, not age, and… take a look at that photo over there. I weigh about 125. How much are you willing to bet that he weighs about the same or more than I do?
Red Rooster said, in their defense: “The label clarifies it is not suitable for children, pregnant women and persons sensitive to caffeine.”
I wonder which of the three he is.

Maybe you should send these facts to all the news crews. I’m sure they would be willing to hear you out [sarcasm]. Some big-shot millionaire is probably calling the shots against the energy drink industry just like W.R. Hearst led his smear campaign against Marijuana just to protect his interests in the paper mills, since hemp was poised to take over paper as a cheaper solution. The same thing is happening here, where some big-shot is quite biased against energy drinks, probably because his kid O.D.’d on them, and so he tries to kill the industry.

I hear ya, man. Energy drinks get such a bad rap. Just because stupid kids do things like this.
